New Grant Supports Healthy Relationships Program
Jewish Women International has received the $40,000 Healthy Relationships: Creating a New Paradigm for Young Jewish Women grant from the Hadassah Foundation.

Sh'ma Kolenu, a joint project of Jewish Women International and the New York Board of Rabbis, was the recipient in 2005 of a $10,000 allocation through the Care for the Caregivers Grant of the American Red Cross, which is administered by The Council of Churches of the City of New York.

A capacity crowd of more than 750 guests from across the U.S. gathered at Washington, D.C.'s Mandarin Oriental Hotel on December 12, 2005, for the Jewish Women International (JWI) annual Women to Watch Gala Luncheon and Awards Ceremony.

A Coalition of Caring
The old proverb that there's strength in numbers couldn't be more evident than in J-CARES (Jewish Community Abuse Resources, Education and Solutions), a coordinated effort that encourages individual and organizational commitment, responsibility and action to prevent domestic abuse and aid abuse survivors in the Chicago area.

JWI Launches Partnership With New York Rabbis

On November 10, 2005, Jewish Women International officially opened an office in New York City and formally launched an historic partnership, Sh’ma Kolenu (Hear Our Voice), with the New York Board of Rabbis (NYBR) to train and educate its members about domestic violence.
