On May 2, 2004, the Philadelphia Council of Jewish Women International will host a luncheon honoring as "Women of Distinction" five outstanding individuals who have made their mark on the quality of life in the Philadelphia area.

The JWI National Needs Assessment, due to be released at the end of March, will provide a clearer, more defined picture of abuse in Jewish homes.
